Sunday Times - Christmas books

Gosh that year went quick! That time a year again when the Sunday Times asked me once again to illustrate the front page of the Books section in the Culture section of the Sunday Times. I really enjoy this job.

FISH FINGER!

I thought of this idea whilst on holiday, and could not get it onto paper quick enough on my return!
I am not sure what to do with it yet, but it will certainly be a print.

Proper Painter

Straight back from holiday and we spent 2 days redecorating a property we rent out. Now I am a 'proper painter!'

6 month baby bump hiding there too!

Holiday

My boyfriend and I just got back from a wonderful relaxing holiday in Crete. We stayed in a beautiful little fishing village called Elounda. We stayed on a quite peninsula overlooking the entire bay of Elounda. We overdosed on Greek salad, and took it very easy indeed.

I enjoyed eating fresh pastry from the bakery and sketching the early morning fishing boats coming and going. Can't wait to revisit!

Great news....I will be selling my London Prints in Heals come the Autumn!.... still can't quite believe it will be happening.

A little bit about Heals.....

Heal's was established in 1810 as a family business.

Heal's has been operating on Tottenham Court Road since 1840 and a second store opened in Guildford in 1972 and  four other stores came later...

Brighton, West Yorkshire, Kings Road and Kingston.

Heals is the absolute fossil of Great British furniture design, and it feels wonderful to be part of the kingdom!

My Dashshund is now on a tray exclusive to Howkapow!

Here's what they have to say about it....

A wiggly Dachshund Dog Tray, designed exclusively for Howkapow by illustrator Lucie Sheridan.

This playful tray is dishwasher safe and has a melamine coating making it easy to clean. It is hand-crafted by a small family-run company in Sweden from pressed Scandinavian birch from sustainable forests.
Materials: Birchwood, Melamine Coating
Dimensions: 35.5cm x 27.5cm
£25
Available here
Since the closure of SNAP our gallery there has been a new gallery opening in the area named
'The Makers'
Its looking lovely and the four ladies that run it are wonderful.
They have started to stock some of my work, which is great as I can still stock my work in the Christmas steps arts quarter!

Sketchbook

I thought I would give you a little insight inside my sketchbook...if you are interested..

Its small enough, and light enough to live in my handbag amongst receipts and crumbs.

I love getting lost in a little sketch.
